Artwork Behind After the Burial : Rareform
In The Beginning
While I was attending art school, I question the average aesthetic and started to embrace the dark side of the force with damage work and when I enjoyed collaborating and designing concepts for melancholic artists such as this progressive metal band from Minnesota.
The Concept
The band wanted the art concept to represent the meaning behind the name; After the Burial along with their new release, Rareform. Pushing the concept within a figure buried and now growing out of the ground afterwards to show a progression from old to new, much like how ATB described their sound and the lives of the band during this time embracing change.
